(1) In the following cases, measuring weights or weighing instruments may be confiscated or the business done with them may be stopped:-
(a) being faulty or defective,
(b) fraudulently used,
(c) Unstitched,
(d) which are stitched together or stitched to each other or
(e) Not in accordance with sub-rule (1) and sub-rule (3) of rule 10.
(2) If it is not necessary to present the measuring weights and weighing instruments seized or impounded in accordance with sub-rule (1), it should be done in accordance with the instructions given by the controller one month after the impoundment or impoundment.
